MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Instructions for the wall plate:
  1. Decide where you want to mount the wall plate, taking into account whether you have purchased add-on extensions for the top and/or bottom.
  2. Measure out the 2 holes on the top / flip side of the wall plate and/or extension piece.
  3. When drilling the holes, angle the drill 1-2 degrees upward i.e. drill slightly down into the brick. When mounting the plate, their natural weight will compensate and result in a perfectly flush wall plate
  4. Insert the wall plug(s) into the holes drilled & then hammer in the nail-in anchors by placing a screwdriver into the nail-in anchor & then gently tapping the end of the screwdriver with your hammer.
  5. To test positioning, place the key slot holders over the nail-in anchors to see if it all lines up correctly. If it is correct, remove the shelf and hammer in the nail-in anchors.
Instructions for the wall plate extension/s:
    1. You may now mount the wall plate and you are ready to add 1, 2 or 3 190mm floating shelves.
    2. You can extend the plate by purchasing additional 300mm long extensions  separately or might even opt to purchase additional 190mm Castle Floating Shelves.
    3. Extensions can be positioned above and/or below the wall plate.
Instructions on how best to use the 190mm Floating Shelf Drilling Guide:
      1. Position the enclosed Drilling Guide (DG) where you wish to mount the shelf. Once done, use a piece of tape or adhesive to secure the "DG" onto the wall plate.
      2. Use a spirit level to make sure that the "DG" is straight/level.
      3. Drill holes into the wall plate as indicated on the "DG".
      4. When drilling the 4 "DG" holes into the wall plate, angle the drill 1-2 degrees upward i.e. drill slightly down into the wall plate – this will allow for the natural weight of the unit to lie flush with the wall plate.
      5. Insert the 4 x 30mm wood chip screws through the T-bracket plate into the pre-drilled holes.
      6. Once secure, slide the floating shelf onto the 2 pins.
